Mr. Wayne Stubbs' Biography
Wayne Stubbs began his career in 1979 as a boarding agent with Harrington and Co. in the Port of Savannah. From 1982 to 1986, he managed the export of wood chips to Scandinavia as Executive Vice President of Savannah Sales Corporation.
In 1986, he moved to Fernandina Beach to develop and manage a new deepwater port. There he served as the President of Nassau Terminals until 2001.
Mr. Stubbs came to Panama City in August 2001 to serve as the Executive Director of the Panama City Port Authority. During his tenure, the Port has invested over $75 million dollars in new facilities, and achieved a threefold increase in cargo activity.
