Fire Services Division

Bay County Fire Services serves the rural and suburban unincorporated areas of Bay County responding to structure and wildland fires as well as first responder calls in assistance to Bay County Emergency Medical Services.  Bay County Fire Services also responds to mutual aid and automatic aid calls with county municipal fire departments.  The Bay County Hazardous Materials Team is operated by Fire Services and responds throughout the region to assist fire departments and law enforcement agencies with hazardous materials issues.  Bay County Fire Services consists of 60 career personnel and 75 volunteers.  Fire Services occupies 13 stations in unincorporated Bay County

 
Chief Brad Monroe is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity to assist students interested in the fire or emergency medical services fields. The Fire Academy or Emergency Medical Technician scholarship program was born from the department’s desire to help those in need in its community, while at the same time addressing the need to develop a diverse first responder workforce. The recipient will receive a full scholarship to Gulf Coast State College including books and uniforms. Click here to apply
