Bay County Property Appraiser's Office

The parcel layer utilized by the Bay County GIS website was created and is maintained by the mapping department of the Bay County Property Appraiser’s Office. The staff of the mapping department began creating the parcel layer in 1989. At that time Richard Davis, the Bay County Property Appraiser, and several area municipalities, saw the benefits of a transition from a manual mapping system to a computer assisted mapping system. The parcel map has been, and continues to be a cornerstone of Bay County GIS
